What it means
Steady: the diesel glow plugs are preheating the engine. Flashing while driving: a fault in the engine or glow plug system.
What to do
Wait until it goes out before starting. If it flashes or stays on while driving, the engine may run in limp mode, so drive carefully to a workshop.
