What it means
The engine oil level is below the minimum.
What to do
Stop safely, wait a few minutes and check the dipstick. Top up with the correct oil, and do not drive far with the level low.
This is general guidance. Symbols differ between manufacturers, so check your owner's manual, and have a red warning light looked at before you drive on.
